Which Multiswitch
I have 2 dreamboxes, a viewsat and a mercury2.
I'd like to hook up 3 dual lnb's (legacy) for 3 sats to all of the above recievers.
I also have long varying cable runs.
Could you recommend what types of multiswitch's I'd need? And should I go externally powered?
I also heard I can't use a multiswitch with a motor is that true?
Thanks,

Aren't Legacy lnbf's circular? Interesting combination. Circular lnbf's (Ku) with FTA receivers and a name like Father (Catholic priest). I know Iceberg sees it.

lol
The Father part is a joke. A self reminder to try and be nice.
I'm pointed at 110, 119, 91.
I also have a motor with a 39 inch dish .. but I haven't set it up yet.
Still site surveying for the best spot and debating where to put the damn thing.
Anyways.. the lnbs on the stationary dishes I "assume" are legacy. At least that's what I thought they were called. Basically they are dish or directtv dual lnbs.
Amen,

I have varying cable lengths.. some at least 100ft.
Although I've prayed to the lord....
I'm not sure if I need an externally powered switch or if that would be a sin and overkill.
I read some where about signal loss on cable runs and voltage should be between a certain range, not above or below.
Also I'm not sure what switches are best suited for the dreamboxes.
I don't really want to throw the churches money away and buy the wrong thing on basically a non-refundable item.
Thanks,

none the less....
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what would be the best setup.
What multiswitches should work...
And why or why it may not work?
Thanks again,

The reason we are asking is because in the posting rules it clearly states - We do not and will not allow anyone to post messages on this forum on how to hack or receive decoded satellite signals illigally. No discussion of illegal reception of encrypted programming will be tolerated! Discussions on how to hack encrypted signal, or how to install, setup, or fix a hacked product is not allowed and will subject member to banning. Violators will be removed from the forum and their message deleted.

With dishes just at 110, 119 & 91 there really isnt much free to air programing there. NASA, Angel One and a couple others. Now if you were downloading illegal software into the box and trying to descramble the pay channels on Dish & ExpressVu, well then that is not allowed here

In answer to all your concerns.
My apoligies if I have ruffled some feathers,
I did not run away.. just had to go out and run some errands.
I don't sit at a desk all day.
I can see one's choice in channels is not anothers.
and I understand the hesitation but and who said anything about "hacking" satellite?
rest assured I subscribe.
The house I now have came with these dishes, one pointed at 91 one at 110,119.... and if need be I'll point one somewhere else. Soon as I buy a ladder...
the receivers I got cheap that's why they are not all the same...
From people / friends who are fed up with scouring the heavens.
Like I said I have a motor just don't know where I'm going to put my fta dish yet.
and I heard I can't use a multiswitches with a motor but I'm still looking for an answer there.
Thanks for your help,
