Globecast on viewsat reciever

Ok im trying to get my 33' dish up so i can get globecast to watch soccer but cant get a signal. Now im using viewsat receiver and before when i was trying to get dish 110 and 119 i was just using the old dish box as they have a good sat finder in them and also heard but then viewsats signal meter wasnt working. Now im curious is it atually working does it work? and is there anyother way of getting 97 degrees that would be easier and efficent.

now when i do use my fta receiver am i suppouse to get a signal and quailty bar? becasue right when i hook it up the signal bar is at 50-60 in red and going up and down but no quailty? but i did try to scan it but no channels at all.....

Second thing guess i dont get all this polarization and rake schew your talking about is that the same as i didnt know you could move the lnb, i thought that stays in the same place at all times

i thought AZIMUTH and ELEVATION where the only things your suppouse to toggle with guess thats why im just a rookie

but its so much easier with dish becasue of the old boxes and u just stick it up and move it around basically till you can a signal

If you did not put some crazy unauthorized software into your Viewsat,
it should show signal and quality progress bars just fine.

to find out how to aim your dish at 97W or any other sat.
Make sure to use linear type LNB for that sat
