globecast dish and motor

Hello,

I would like to know if it’s possible to use original Globecast dish (75 Elliptical) with motor.
-I am worry that the globecast dish antenna could be to heavy – I can not find any information how much it weights.
-If anyone accomplished making a globecast dish motorized please let me know.

Yes, you should be able to use it with a SM3D22, SG2100, STAB HH100 or HH120. But since the inside diameter of the mounting bracket on the dish is slightly different than the outside diameter of the shafts of these motors, you may have to use some spacers (shims).

Globecast dish is plastic. It's not that heavy.

I am thinking of motorizing a MultiStar ellip (ms85) dish using the stabhh90 for fta reception...I to can't find a weight but I think it would work...any thoughts or advice. I have Invacom dual C/L lnb...

just use the sg2100 it will handle up to a 1.2 meter dish so if you decide to upgrade to a bigger dish in the future you won't have to change motors.
