Standard vs. Universal

Ok (where's Bill and all his analysis?) I am getting ready to call Sadoun and order a 90cm dish with lnbf. I am giving my 76cm and universal lnbf to a neighbor. He helps me out a lot when I need it. He is also getting the Coship receiver as we are doing a fixed install due to trees. In any case which of the two give me a wider range of freq?

brentb636 is on a distinguished road
The Universal will give you a wider range. There are some Atlantic bird transponders which a standard linear cannot hit , but are available with a Universal LNB . A standard linear will work with anything on Lyngsat's "North American" page that is Ku band and linear polarity.
