The Weather Network on Nimiq2

Hi,
does anyone have the full details for the weather network from Canada
I use to get it on TP 12661 but lost it after adjusting my dish.

I am trying to reprogram the Video PID, Audio PID and the PCR

I know it is a circular signal while I have a linear LNB but I use to get it solid
before moving the dish slightly

its still there the last time i checked a few days ago try sending your motor back to zero and then move there using usuals my 100 got confused the other night and would'nt pull in anything untill i did this.

good signal/quality but the general search does not find it.
I am hoping to find by programming the Video, audio and PCR

I just tuned in 12661 on Nimiq2, and the weather channel isn't on that transponder. It seems to be something called SKYWay, which is encrypted.
Seems like things have changed transponders and Lyngsat hasn't been updated.
Haven't had a chance to look for it on other transponders, but using a linear LNB, I can't receive all the transponders.

EDIT: I seem to be only able to receive R polarization by using H polarization on my linear system. I just went through all the transponders I can receive linear, and didn't find weather. Interestingly, did find several scrambled channels that had FTA audio.

I used AUTO for polarization in my last scan when it use to work and satcruiser pinned it as Vertical. I get PG800 tv on 12661 with no Audio (0000). It is a tricky sat because AMC5 is so close

I made a mistake with respect to the SkyWay thing.
THe PAT listed it as Program 800, so I looked in the SDT, expecting to see a channel name for Program 800. They had a Program 880 there, which was SkyWay, and 880 looked like 800 to me so I thought that was what it was.
For some reason they didn't have a channel name for Program 800, at least on that transponder. It may have been listed on another transponder.
Anyway, sorry for mistake. If that's still weather, then it's encrypted.

I just re-scanned 12661 where the weather network was and it is TSN now
the canadian sports network that is supposed to be encrypted. Somebody must have used the wrong switch

sorry I didn't get back to you last night got busy.looks like the weather channel is gone as you said replaced by TSN sports.had a good CFL game on last night though.

Neat. That was scrambled yesterday. I didn't think it was the weather thing that was scrambled, because it had different PIDs than what was shown in Lyngsat.
I've found TSN in the clear a couple times in the past year or so, once during the last Olympics, although since the main Canadian Olympic feeds were on another sat, I didn't watch it, and then after the Olympics were over, I checked back and it was gone. The feed during the Olympics was not listed in the PAT, so it wouldn't show up in a blind scan.
So I guess Nimiq2 is a sat that needs to be monitored.

yeah free channels pops up from time to time on both nimiq birds.

I will keep an eye on Nimiq. Is there a way to find out where the feeds programming are going to be. It has been hit and miss for me. i was able to get the security council meeting live on IA8 yesterday. Watched the whole thing. I wont comment on the show though

unfortunealy it hit and miss because these are normaly scramble channels.
