Question Sleepless in Liverpool

After a number of sleepless night I am finally holding my hands up and admitting I need help big Time!

I have a an Smd312 HH Motor with an 80cm Dish, My location is 3.0W by 53.635N Liverpool England and I am having a lot of trouble setting my true South, My southern sat should be Thor 0.8W but I am having no luck at all can anyone help?

I have set the Motor angle to 54deg but cant make head nor tail of the Dish Declination or magnetic south offset.

Help

Blue:

I would think Amos 1/2 at 4 degrees would be closer to being your "true south" satellite than Thor. I think for your installation, I would set the motor as you have it (to your latitude), then dish elevation to about 39 degrees per the owner's manual.

Good luck!
Bob
