Compression Connectors

Checking out the site and I noticed there are 3 different types of compression connectors.

Which one will work on regular RG6 cable? I have the tool (got that at Lowes) but the connectors that came with it only work on RG6 quad

Sorry, I can't help, but if you find out, please post. I got a bunch of the regular RG6 too, and have a tool I got at Radio Shack, and bought a bunch of connectors at Radio Shack, that say they are for the plain RG6, but either the cable isn't quite the right size, or the tool doesn't compress it enough, because it doesn't work. What I did, was take a small piece of foil thin sheet metal and wrapped it around the connector so that the tool squeezed the connector tighter. That works, but isn't a very good solution. I'd like to get connectors that work with the cable and tool I have, but maybe that isn't possible.

You guys are having rotten luck. I have a couple of compression tools - one cheapy at $25 and a really suave one at $235 (made in Connecticut somewhere -- top of the line). Anyway both work fine for me with "plain" RG-6 cable and Thomas & Betts Snap 'n Seal F56 connectors (the real ones from the U.S. -- not the crappy knock-offs made in China). I never use quad shield.
