SG2100 quit moving

A couple days ago my sg2100 quit moving. My layout was receiver to DiSeqC to motor to amp to lnbf. I determined the DiseqC was the culprit. Removed from the circuit and the motor moved. The switch still changes between ports properly. Have a 22Khz coming and am going to place it in and from one side go to the DiSeqC for the big dish and the other side to the motor of the little dish.

Anyone seen this before or have a wiser routing of coax? Should DiSeqC switches be placed between motor and lnbf? If this is the case this means routing a split line from a second dish all the way out to the first dish.

Steve --

My reading (and thus my setup) indicates rcvr -> motor -> switch -> lnb

...of course, I'm not trying to add a second dish into the equation, either.

You can use a Diseqc between the receiver and motor but they will burn out more (as you've proven)

Best is to go receiver---motor---diseqc---dish
