Seeking hints to install T-90 Torodial dish
I am a beginner, I purchased a Wave Frontier Torodial dish (the T-90, 36”) with 3 LNBs to seek and lock on FTA birds. I also bought a SatHauk-3000 and Accutrac22Pro Dual Meter (perhaps an overkill but I hope to make a hoby out of it), with the assumption that I must have a meter connected to each LNB if I am to make all 3 locked. The T-90 specs says:
Operating Frequency
10.70 - 12.75 GHz
Polarization
Linear & Circular
Multi Satellite Range in arc
40 degrees in arc
Mid Band Gain @ 12.5 GHz
39.65 dB (± 0.45 dB)
Recommended Satellite Spacing
3 degrees
Efficiency
65 ~ 80 %
Is it a good dish for FTA channels?
The LBNFs are FORTEC STAR FSKU
Input Frequency Range from 10.70 GHz ~ 12.75 GHz
Output Frequency Range from 950 MHz ~ 2150 MHz
Voltage-Controlled H/V Switching (13/18 V)
Where would I meet challenges? I am in New Jersey and have south west to northwest.
How does my locations' Latitude and Longitude relate to Elevation and Azimuth to be set to on the dish?
Also, for portability, I am installing it on ground (on a weather guarded 4ftx3ft wood surface, made of 4x4s woods connected together with steel rods with Rowbars keeping it nailed in ground) how important is for the pole to be absolutely perpendicular to the ground (is there a tolerance I am supposing not, but this platform is not perfect).
Thank you,
