Cool PANSAT3500 HH90 DishPro Dish

My wife bought me an HH90 motor as part of my birthday present . My problem is that I don’t know how to set up my new system . This is my inventory: I have two Pansat 3500SD receivers connected to an DP34 switch which is connected to a DishPro Dish. I also have a Class III DTV dish that is just sitting on the roof not being used. I have tried installing the HH90 with the DishPro dish and there are a lot of modifications that need to be done. So I was wondering, should I buy the FC90U Dish and LNBF as a package? The next questions is can I use the LNBFs that I currently have with my DishPro Dish? Can the FC90U support multiple LNBFs? I just canceled my subscription with DishNetwork and I was told that the Dish and the Switch are mine to keep, so I want to take advantage of that. Thank you for your assistance !!!

While I can not say conclusively what lnbf's your dish presently holds I would bet circular which without subscription to either DirecTV or Dish Network will not receive much. You require a linear Ku lnbf. Next on the list is dish size. Your dish is to small for DVB MPEG2 FTA reception so your thoughts of purchasing a dish and lnbf would probably be the best route. There really is no need for multiple lnbf's on a motorized dish. You can simply get a lnbf with multiple outputs (one for each receiver). While you could in theory aim the other lnbfs to permit viewing of multiple sats you could also just as easily move the dish Only place a problem would come in would be viewing from two different sats at the same time.

Now knowing what you actually desire to do with what you have I think I have said about all I can at this point. Hope it helps.

Well what I was trying to see is if I could take parts from the other 2 dishes and put them together on a new dish without speding too much money. Now lets say that I re-new my subscription with DN can I use my own equipment or do I need to use DN's?

THe LNBFs that I have on the DishPro are two DBS LNBF and one FSS LNB
I dont know about the ones on the DTV dish but what I was planning to do was to take the LNBFs from the DishPro Dish and put them on the FC90U instead of buying a new LNBF do you think that can be done? or no?

I would recomend the invacom qph-031 will do both circular and linenar feeds the best of both worlds with out the hassle.

You must use DN's receivers; dishes can be any kind as long as they are technically compatible.

Well .. I decided to buy the FC90U and the invacom qph-031, I was so excited yesterday that I connected the HH90 to my Pansat3500SD just to see it work even with out a Dish or LNBF.

Well, I'm glad to say that my system is up and running !!!! I took down the two antennas that I had (DishNetwork and DirectTV) and installed the nice Fortec 36" Dish. The installation took me 2 days and at the end I was victorious!!!!!! I'm getting most of the FTA satellites I still need to tweak the antenna a little more to be able to get all possible birds and then .. and only then I will be able to say that the "FTA birds are all MINE!!!" till then ... I will keep watching my 100+ free channels !!!
