Is there a simple 1 dish setup for 2 receivers on DN regular and Internationals and
IA5? (No
HD required)
I saw someone's setup and they had 3 dishes!! 1
dish 500 hitting 110/119 1 dish 300 hitting 61.5 and a winegard 76cm for IA5. DN receiver and FTA receiver sitting on top of each other at TV. Not sure how it was wired though.
Here is the problem, 3 dishes look terrible, is there a better way? Don't want to go motorized cause want a 2 TV setup.
The options I have heard are:
Super dish + additional 30 inch for IA5 (however 2 big dishes still)
T90 torrodial
36 inch dish with some sorta multibracket
Ariza multistar oval dish with built in bracket for multi-lnbs.
These solutions however raise some new questions:
Can any of these dishes get dish internationals at 61.5?
Or do you go after 121 for internationals like the superdish?
Will internationals continue to be carried on 121? I thought i read they will kill them by year end off of 121? Is that true?
If internationals will stick around on 121, do you need an
invacom quad to pickup 119 and 121 at the same time because they are so close together? How can that work on a T90? Is there a reverse polarity quad invacom?
This is all pretty confusing to me. Anyone have suggestions for a 1 dish solution?
PS: I also read that a new linear sat will show up at 118.5, not sure what will be on it. Would that screw up using an invacom quad for getting 119 and 121 simultaneously?
Just looking for a simple solution for 1 dish.
