basic install

i have a 30 inch dish and single output lnb i have access to 18inch dishes and a number of other peices of equipment, pretty much anything that direct tv and dish network uses. also i'll be purchasing a pansat receiver i also have a birdog which satellites to i need to peak in to get a good number of free to air channels and will i need to use one of those 4x1 swicthes if i use multiple dishes ? preyty much i'm trying to do free to air without buying alot of equipment ! can this be done ??? and what will i get ??? need help moving soon and i'm kinda suck of paying for cable lol

For free to air reception you will need a minimum of 30"+ dish. Your 18" dishes will not work as there is nothing FTA on directv of DN that is worh your efforts.

ok i was told and have seen where a 18 inch dish and a dual lnb was used to pick up fta channels will there be a problem if that set up is used ??? will a super dish or a at3 dish the five lnb dish from directv give me a better chance of picking up fta satellites

also what channels will i get ??? i heard there are lot of sports . is there any movie channel lik hbo showtime etc i also heard that there are porno channels on a canadian satellite galaxy 99 i belive

Like Sadoun says... there is nothing FREE on these satellites or the Canadian service (Bell ExpressVu) either. So forget your hopes of getting sports, HBO, movies and porn.
