Basic Setup Question

Hi guys. When I got into FTA I went right with a motorized system. I'm not too up on the stationary setups. A friend of mine wants to setup his first FTA system and he wants a stationary disk to pick up just 110 and 119. What size dish and LNB does he need? I'm guessing he could get away with an 18" dish for those 2 sats but will he need 2 LNBs mounted on a special bracket or is there a single LNB that will pull in both sats? All comments and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks a lot.

Your friend should just use a Dish Network dish set up to grab both these sats and a Dish Network receiver. Then he can subscribe to Dish Network and get the channels. Otherwise with a FTA receiver and dish pointed at 110 he will get nothing. At 119 he can get the radio stations. Oh yes he can also receive the help channel for Dish Network.

By the way Dish Network gives the equipment away with subscription so he could save a bunch of money and just call the local dealer
