dish elevation motor elevation

I am really frustrated.

I looked up my lat lon: 42.6/90.8

Spent lots of time getting my mount plumb, square, and level. =D>

Spent time getting true south.

Used the stab calculator for my HH90 to get the dish elevation, 38.5

set everything and double checked plumb, square, and level.......

Nothing :mozilla_yell:

So, I swept all the up and all the way down in 1 to 2 degree increments,

Nothing. :mozilla_yell:

Can anybody look at my numbers and tell me whee I am wrong?

My zip code is 52073.

first set your motor elevation to your lat. which is 42.6 then set dish elevation to 38.5 degrees then set your true south. then set your receiver to sat g11. see www.lyngsat.com for frequency.then use small east west and up down adjustments to get strongest signal.

Point your dish to true south. Set your receiver to Galaxy 11 as rainman said, set transponder to 12060V, SR 26700. That is the Primedia channel, color bars there all the time, search left, right, up,down. Its there, just takes a lot of patience, you will find it.
Also, what lnbf are you using? Are you sure the lof is set correctly? Standard linear 10750, universal 9750/10600, any switch involved? What receiver? Anything that might be blocking your view of the satellite?
