LNBF question

I've been having trouble getting a good signal quality. I was just wondering and this may be a stupid question, but here it is anyway :mozilla_oops:

My LNBF is single, universal and at the front it has a white, round cap. Does this cap by any chance need to be removed or does the signal pass through as is?

Its not a stupid question. The signal will pass through

the cap stays on signal passes through it.for signal problem check alignment of dish. :mozilla_smile:
