S-SM21 V switch

I would like to know if applying 12 volts dc to the top terminals will switch RX (receiver) between LNBF A and LNBF B? Also, is the polarity of the 12 volts at the top terminals is indcated by the 0/12 V on the left and the GND on the right. I wish to use an external 12 Volt supply and a manual switch to between two lnbs. Switches that use the coax cable seem to interfere with my dish rotor. Thanks for any assistance you can lend.

Yes, that is how it works. If 12V is present, the switch will switch to the 12V port. When there is no voltage, the switch will switch to the 0V port.
