disqec switch
i was thinking of adding a circular lnb to my setup to get fta circular signals. can you aad disqec switch at the dish to split signal so you only have one cable comming in thanks for your help. :mozilla_smile:

Yes, its pretty easy to do, a cable from each lnbf to the switch and then one cable to the motor. Some switches don't like to get wet so you need to waterproof as well as you can. I finally just ran long cables into the house, but in reality the switch is still between the lnbf's and the motor.

Safest way is to buy a weatherproofed DiSEqC swicth like the SDS41C that we sell.

I currently use a Invacom dual LNB. This unit does both circular and linear. I run it into a DiSeqC as stated, prior to the motor. The LNB has two ports for circular and two for linear. So while the info lists it as a quad I see it as a dual  The receiver has no problem (Fortec Star Platinum) with one minor exception. Still lists as H or V not L or R. Issue? No not really just something I noticed.
I currently do not subscribe to any DSS channels but I think it is 119 that has a ton of clear radio channels. Either that or 110, don't remember. Got the LNB here at Sadoun.
