Scared of heights ... roof installation?

New guy here and I'm scared of heights.
Thinking about how to get this thing on my roof or high up on the wall close to the peak of my roof.
Any suggestions or insight from anyone would be great.
I have the 90cm and universal mount.
I'd like to get this thing up as high as possible because the neighbors house is pretty much in my face.
I'm unsure about attaching this to my roof. Do I need fascia to keep the water out of my attic?
I'd love to here what some of you other folks have done.
Thx!

If you're afraid of height, Taking a 90cm dish with you up there is very scary. You might also need to get your receiver up there too if you do not want ot make trips up and down to check the signal. Hiring someone else to install it would take care of all this.

dave its not recommended that you install on a roof unless it is your last option. Are you sure you have judged accuratley whether you will get signal or not? The signal comes in higher than you think.. usually 15-20 degrees higher than the dish will be angled at.

But if you have to put it on the roof I heard a good thing to use is a ton of caulking in the 4 screws on the mount.
