0 position off by 1 degree on HH90 motor

I have just noticed that when I set my new HH90 motor to it's center or 0 position, the marker or pointer is off by roughly 1 degree to the clockwise side. I have tried setting it to 0 a few times and even reset the receiver and tried again but it's always off. Will this have an effect on satellite positioning? Thanks in advance to anyone with input on this : )

I'll give a qualified "maybe", but I doubt it will have any affect.

You can "fudge" a lot of the settings by adjusting the dish's elevation, the motor's postion on the pole, motor angle, etc to dial everything in.

But, I will finish with this - 1 degree at a few feet isn't much, but at 23,000 miles up where the sats are, can be significant.

The issue becomes would you be able to adjust out that little amount of error, and I'd say yes you can.
I think you will be OK.

Is there no way to re-set "0" on the HH90? Could you not set it to reference point, nudge it to 0 then store? I don't have one so don't know, I use an sg2100, but it would seem odd that it can't be adjusted, I know its easy with the sg2100.

Is there a "clear settings" option to remove a potential settings error?

For example:

User goes to refernce.
nudges to 45 degrees off center.
STORE as reference.

I can see that being a LOT of trouble...

I dont want to mess up my settings of my motor, so I dont want to try this procedure...

I've tried the "go to reference" option and it's a little better. It's closer to 0 now, maybe off half a degree now. I'll do it a couple more times to see if it gets even better. Thanks for the help. The weather got better this week-end so I have reinstalled the motor back on the dish and will try to fine tune for satellites tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes.
