How to get T5-IA5
Hi,
I have:
• Panset 2500A-N2 Receiver
• 33” Dish
• LaVa .3db Universal Single LNB
• Optional-(Digiwave DiSEqC 2.0 4x1 Switch)
• A chip sat finder SF-95
I would like to get IA5 or T5 – 97W.
On my Menu, on my receiver, I am not very sure if I set right:
I have option to set:
LNB type: Universal1(LNB Local-Freq 9750/10600) or Universal2 (LNB Local-Freq 9750/10750); I set Universal2
TP: I have 20 presets. I put [9]11752V7.232; but I change the skew at 19, and I leave Positioner Setting Disable
I can not get signal (yet)
Can I get any help, please? Any advise is welcome considering the temperatures outside (I am in Ottawa)

Winters in Canada are wonderful, yes?? I'm in New Brunswick and the bitter cold hasn't really started yet.
You say you have a universal lnbf so you should be using the 10600 setting. You are using a single lnbf so you don't need the diseqc switch. Happy New Year and keep warm while you're aiming that dish!!

Thats great! A little further west (2 degrees) and you will hit Galaxy 3C, scan for 11780H SR 20760. Two degrees further west from that is IA5 at 97. As you have probably figured out, you need to lower the elevation as you go west. From T6 to T5 you won't have to lower it much, just a degree or so.

Don't worry about your skew, if you have T-6 you should be able to get G3C and T-5, they are very close. You can play with the skew to get the strongest signal after you find the bird. Yes, the transponder I gave you on G3C is (H)orizontal. Make sure you set that in your receiver.

OK... Did somebody say Johnnie Walker ??
Yes, the receiver will electronically switch between H and V; leave the LNB skew alone.

Now sounds better, is about Johnnie, not about dish. I change (the settings for skew) allready and I think I did wrong; I don't know where I am; as direction.
My metter for signal is at min. ( at Max.) and still nothing; but I don't know what signal is that.

I think he's ready for Johnnie Walker kat,
Seriously, once you find a satellite and identify it, mark your pole for azimuth and mark your dish elevation scale so you can always go back to that satellite and start over on your search for another bird.

I purchased a Lava 0.3dB noise LNB also, I found the following settings to make it works with either Pansat 2700A or Viewsat 2000 are:
- LNB type: standard (I set at 12600)
- 22KHz: on (it needs a pilot tone to work ???? I don't know)
I watch the only TP: 11966, so I set the TP at 11966.
I hope this would help you a little bit. Good luck.
