installing elipital dish with 110 and 119 LNBs

Quick questions

When setting up this dish do you align dish for 110 or 119 initially?
i.e. elev, az and skew

Is LNBF polarization tilt (skew) done viewing the dish from the front or rear in relationship to Clockwise?

I am at 44.01, 78.79(GPS)

What I do is tune in 119 first - preset the elevation for 119 for your area. Set the initial skew for zero (ie: flat across the horizontal like a normal non-skewable dish). Then after locking onto 119, tighten the dish azimuth bolts because you will not need further azimuth adjustments. Next connect your 110 LNB and adjust the elevation (ie: higher elevation if you live east of the Continental Divide -- lower if you live west of it). You should then lock onto 110. Then peak the signal for 110 by adjusting the skew (also called "tilt"). Skew is referenced from being behind the dish. You will notice that as the signal strength for 110 increases, the strength for 119 will decrease somewhat -- this is normal. When you have a decent signal on both 110 and 119, lock down the elevation and skew.
