Using SF95KIT with Fortec Universal LNB

Since the Fortec FSKU-v Universal LNB uses a 22 KHz signal to switch from Low Band to High Band, does this mean that I can only few signals from the Low Band frequency (10.7 ~ 11.7 GHz) when I use the SF95 meter connected to the batteries, instead of putting the meter inline with the receiver? If so, is there an inexpensive portable 22 KHz generator that I can connect to do the meter to do the switching. I would like to be able to detect signals in both bands without having to connect the meter to the receiver.

Yes, there is a 22KHz tone generator (item #19 here: http://sadoun.com/Sat/Order/Switches/Splitters.htm ) :mozilla_laughing:
