Wow; that's a cool product !! Now we don't need to keep our klunky old C-Band analog receivers around just to move the dish.

Was it ever determined if this unit could control the standard mechanical servo (as in chaparral type)? Some said they thought it only did the magnetic type.

edited to add: If anyone knows the technical specs of this unit: My new horizon to horizon mount provides 11.7 counts per degree, is this unit capable of keeping up with that high count number?

It was confirmed with the factory that this unit will only control magnetic type servo polarizors..

SatSeeker DS200

Hi I do have the same type of questions about this unit. I have a 7.5 wingard mesh and I am at the point of setting it up. I have not decided yet if I should buy an FTA receiver rather than buy a used c band receiver in order to be able to move the dish.

We would like some more info and explanations if possible about the unit from Sadoun co. The unit they advertise on their web site says that the manual is in French. Could they ask the factory to provide an English translation?
has anybody out there used this unit yet? How does it perform?
Thank you for your help.

There are many great feeds in analog on IA5 and 6 and on many other birds also. So a analog box is good to have, if you have a VCII+ board you can get BET free and you can sub a la carte to other sevices.
