So anyway, I bought a Wavefrontier
T90 from
Sadoun. It works great. Now the problem. My homeowners association has clarified their
rules on dish
installations. While they can't legally (and they know it) restrict dishes under 39", it seems that I measured the T90 and the long axis of the main reflector is like 42" and the short axis is 36". (Perhaps this will pass muster as the average is about 39"). But they've also proclaimed that the dish must be painted so it will match the surroundings.
I hate the idea of painting my dish, but to keep it, I may have no choice. What kind of paint or covering should I look into using to make the dish less obvious? I thought about trying to cover it in a weatherproof fabric and clipping it on around the perimeter of the reflectors. Will this degrade the performance greatly?
