Your universal LNB will is not meant to pick up echostar... you need a "circular" lnb. You can get one from Best buy or radioshack from 30-45 dollars.
Unless you are trying to view 121.. which is linear.. the rest of echostar is circular.
For linear satellites 60 and up quality is great..

l.o. frequency 11250
Thanks lot for your reply.
Is it critical to set l.o. frequency 11250 accurately?

"circular" lnb
Do you mean we have to use different LNB for different sat?

yes. To view echostar 119, 110, 61.5, nimiq 1 + 2, you NEED a different LNB called a "circular lnb" or more often called DSS lnbs. And yes you need to set it to 11250.

look on lyngsat. If next to the transponders you see R or L instead of H or V, then you need circular dss lnb. For example, tp 11920 V needs a linear ku lnb, but freq 20000 R needs a circular one. These are polarities.

Help urgent
My receiver is Eagle Star model 53-2500a and it clones Pansat 2500.
On setup screen it does not give LNB type circular, it has :
Standard 11250
Single Stack 10750(V)/11250(H)
Universal 1 9750/10600
Universal 1 9750/10750
Single-SL 5150/5170
Single-SH 5150/5170
So which one is ofr echo star 3, 7, 6,8 circular LBN?
And at TP setup I can not change to non polarity and it only let me set for V or H?
What I do?

there is no setting for circular. set it to Standard 11250 IF you have a dss lnb.. not linear lnb.
For the polarity, V translates to R, and H translates to L. don't worry about the polarities.
