What is the Magnetic Declination for my town? Corning Calif

Hey I am trying to figure out that Magnetic Declination for my town Corning California. I don't see any exact numbers on that chart I see on the site. I don't quite get it. Can anyone give me my number. Then say quickly how to utilize those numbers. If it only takes a minute of your time please assist me with this. Thank you. Jerry_Satellite Corning California!! :mozilla_cool: :mozilla_cool:

This should work for you:

Be sure to SUBTRACT the number you get from your compass reading...

(I'm in the north east, and my number shows on that site as -10.5... I ADD 10.5 to my compass reading for corrected North. Since you're in the West, you will need to subtract)

your magnetic variation is -15 .. maybe -15.5 , but it doesn't have to be exact. So if you are pointing a motor to your true south it would be 180-15 so you point with your compass 165..

or if you have fixed dish just take whatever you calculated for the azimuth and subtract 15 to get your compass heading.
