Adding AMC 4 to receiver

Hello, I was wondering if I can get some help, I have an older receiver (Mricroyal MRX - 600) and I want to watch the RTPi (Portuguese) which is in the AMC 4 satellite, how can I add the satellite to my receiver, I have a 36 dish size......thank you very much !!!!

What you must do is "ADD TRANSPONDER" and key in the following data:

freq = 12,169 MHz
SR = 03003
pol = HOR

Then scan that particular transponder and RTPi should come in.

thank you for taking the time to help me, I did what you told me to but it shows "not found", do I have to find the satellite with the dish for the rtp i to show upt...

Yes, of course. I was under the impression that your dish was already pointing at AMC4. So yes, first you must aim your dish to AMC4.

I have a another question, I know that the cable coming from the satellite goes into the "ANT IN" but when I do that my satellite finder has no power in the other hand when I connect the cable to "IF INPUT" it does have power, as you can see I'm still fighting to get the RTPi...

The cable from the dish goes into IF INPUT, not ANT IN.
