I have Gal10 @ 90 % level and 40% Quality but get no picture

I have my Dish mounted on a 12 foot pole and bracketed to side of my house. I had so much trouble with my rotor not working properly that I removed the rotor. I have my dish on Gal10 with 90-40 % on transponder 11799. When I exit Antenna and go to programs I get the NO Signal report. I have read all of my instructions and I have nothing to guide me. I searched Sadoun site for help on this but came up with a blank. I must need to make some kind of change but I don't know what to do. Help !!!!!!!.

Bob

Depends on what kind of receiver you have, 40% quality may not be enough to get picture.

Are you making some setting changes in the "Antenna" submenu and then not saving them before going back to view mode? Some receivers are picky about just how to save the changes. Generally, pressing EXIT without first pressing OK will not save the changes; of course, this varies widely by receiver make and model. Some receivers save the changes automatically if you press MENU again rather than pressing EXIT. Now that you have taken down the motor make sure you disable DiSeqC 1.2

Dish TV 105 signal is strong

I have found the answer to my questions. When I had the rotor I had Gal 10 programed so I removed the rotor and the Gal 10 was still shown in my receiver as current. I got the green and thought I had Gal 10 but it would not run. As I continued to fool around I discovered that I had 105 Dish TV signal. No wonder it was so strong!!!! I am now trying to use my new Sathawk Sat Finder without success so far. If our rains stop here in Fla. maybe I will get Gal 10 on my Sathawk. Thank you all for your interest Jamal told me that this experience would be a good hobby for me. Boy, was he ever right!!!

Bob.
