"Store" after manual dish adjust?

Do I have to hit the "store" button under "Antenna Setup" after each time I manually adjust the dish (left/right) to get maximum qualtity signal? What is the store button for? (this is not covered in the manual I have).

(BTW, I have the hh90 with fcm80 dish, lifetime ultra.)

Yes, you will need to click on "STORE" if you move the dish. It will store the location of the satellite in the motor memory (for DiSEqc 1.2) or in the receiver menu (for USALS).

Thanks for replying. I just wanted to make sure I am doing things right.

Also when I manually adjust left/right, I do not move the dish by itself. Rather, I gently rotate the whole assembly (dish+motor) as a unit with the pole as the centripetal point. Right?

Thanks!

If you're moving the motor and dish as one unit, Without using the remote or the motor buttons, you do not need to store the position because the motor position was not changed.
