Currently have Dishnet 148. Want to use that same dish

to pick up channels with Forect Lifetime Ultra. I flashed the receiver, and tried to get channels but can't pick up any FTA channels on the satelitte. Do I need to do anything with the dish? Is it usable since it is pointed to that satellite? Please help.

Not usable. There's no FTA on 148.

One more question. Since I am new to this and you seem knowledgeable. What dish do you recommend, and motor do you recommend so that I can use the Fortec Ultra to see as many satellites as possible.
