What receiver ,lnb, and dish are you using? And are you looking for KU band signals or
C band signals? Or both?
If this receiver in question is controlling the dish and the lnb you would have lnb power to "on". If it is slaved to another receiver wich is moving and operating the dish it should be set to "off".
Positioner setting is the movement control for the motor on the dish if you have one installed. Usuall choices are USALS, Diseqc , or none.
Satellite scan will scan all entered transponder data to search for channels within those specifications.Usually this data needs to be prdefined or input manually. On a 'blind scan' receiver there may be a seperate option for this 'blind/power scan' feature.
Lnb type can either be standard, wideband,or universal. Standard could either be C band or KU band. Wideband and universal are both varients of KU lnbs.
LO frequency again depends on the type of lnb used. For C band it would be 5150. For standard KU it would be 10750. For Universal Ku it would be 9750/10600.
22khz refers to a 22khz switch whitch is sometimes used to switch between different lnbs. You'll only need this option if you are using a inline 22khz switch, or , if you have a universal ku lnb this will default to 'auto'.
