Can Not Get Power Scanned Channels

I can really use some help on a problem I am having with my Fortec Ultra. When using my Linear LNB, I perform a power scan on a Bird (e.g. AMC 5, etc) with known FTA channels. The power scan finds the transponders (sometimes off by 1-2 Mhz ?), got good signal and quality (85/89), but when the rcvr performs the channel scan it finds nada..... The only other interesting point is that I can receive channels from downloaded channel lists....none from scans.
My SAT settings for AMC5 is as follows:
Location: 97W
LNB: Universal 1 (9750/10600)
LNB: On
TP's with at least 80% Level and Quality of 81% or better:
11742 H 11.110
11939 H 6.510
12182 H 23.000
11900 H 2.170
I'm baffled....

some things you can try is power off your receiver from the back switch, or do a master reset if you dont have a lot of custom programming you don't want to lose.

Those are my suggestions but there might be other ones.

Master reset was the way to go. I am now able to power scan and have the channels programmed.....time to upload channels....Thanks DruzeTito
