I just purchased a fortec Star 31" dish from sadoun to get echo star 9 (121) or telstar 5, Iam not pickup strong signal despite that I aim it toward the right position. The signal I get doesn't go higher than 56, which is one issue. The second issues is on the fortec ultra lifetime in antena setup for 121 or telstar 5, what LBN type and LBN local frequency should be selected on that menu?
What type of LNB do you have?
It can be either a Standard or Universal.
The frequency you need to select for a standard LNB
is 10750 and for the Universal it is 10600.
If your not sure you can look at the label on the LNB and it should
tell you. Or, just try both if it doesn't say.
If your using a Dish or Directv LNB you may not get signal on these
sats unless you change the LNB frequency to (I think) 11250.
