help with setting voltage on Traxis dbs2500

I just bought this receiver but can not get a signal from telestar 5 unless i set the voltage to 18. but the instruction say to leave it at 13/18. It seems like I am only getting half the channels i should also.. any ideas??

Thanks

Philiip

Check:

1- Your LNBF skew
2- Your LNBF
3- Your cable
4- If all the above check fine, check the output voltage on your receiver.

Check the polarization on your lnb, I have the same receiver and it gets all of the T5 channels but I had to adjust the LNB before it worked properly.
