Sat Dx'ing

Open question to all and saundry !!!!

I have been doing alot of research on out of foot print reception along with Side carriers (sort of) that still produce enough DB to produve a viewable signal (assuming dish sizing).I have read reports on reception almost 2000 km out of prime foot print !!
Yeah I know WACKING GREAT DISH............

My interest lies in europe, primarily the UK DX.
Has anybody from ottawa eastwards been able to DX anything that falls within the scope of this. Yeah I know the Astra sats fall short of my elevation.....
Love to know who's trying this and what sort of results you have got.....perhaps even a signal with no lock !!
