They want you to pre-register for September 2004. They say the cost will be between $25 and $30 a month and you will have to buy a Tarbs receiver.
This info is available under USA services then click on FAQ in the upper right corner.

If history repeats itself you won't need a special "Tarbs" receiver. As long as they use the DVB format any FTA (with proper CAM embedded) will probably work; we'll see what they come up with.

I don't think anyone should order a Tarbs receiver just yet, let's see what happens has we get closer to September. However if Tarbs scramble there channels like they say they will then only a Tarbs receiver will be authorized for service by Tarbs.

Tarbs says "TARBS-USA signals will be scrambled with a special code, which can only be descrambled by a TARBS receiver. You can still keep your old receiver to enjoy other free-to air channels broadcasted via the same satellite."

Yeah.... well Globecast said the same thing but I've seen other brand receivers with an authorized card pull in Globecast channels. So, like you say, lets wait and see.....

Peja you guessed it right yesterday. That's quite unbelievable that they shut down so abruptly. Is there any information whether Globecast will pick up any of these channels, especially MKTV and RTS? If any more info comes your way keep us up to date.
