New Install Questions

I am in the process of installing a C-Band dish for my first time (purchased the complete system through Sadoun) and I'm trying to get a general understanding on how the motorization part works for movement to each orbital slot before I have this up and running. I'm assuming that the actuator arm is responsible for moving the dish east and west. However, what additional device do I need to add to adjust the elevation of the dish?
Also, what is the recommended guage wiring for the motor and sensor.? Any help would be appreciated.

To move the actuator you need a VBOX that goes connected via coaxial cable with your STB.
Once you put all parts together park the antenna facing west and before you connect the actuator arm give two or three turns by hand to make the actuator arm go out just little bit, as said no more than 3 turns.
Electrically connect the actuator with he VBOX using a 4 wire cable that you can find at home depot; the gauge is about 20 stranded.
Make absoultely sure you mount the antenna on a schedule 40 pipe on the ground at least 4 feet deep and also at the bottom put some rods drilling a hole on the pipe to avoid rotation.
You have to make sure the pipe is 3" O.D.
Also it is imperative to be plumb.
Your LNB has tobe set for 0°SKEW.
Your manual adjustments are: AZIMUTH, ELEVATION AND DECLINATION.
Also for the LNB you have to adjust focal distance.
If you have a C/Ku LNB fine tune on Ku for best possible quality.
As for quality don't expect to get 100% on any channels; the average is 60%.
Enjoy your TV.
Let me recommend you to do a lot of reading throught the forum.
