V3000 Gbox

getting ready to put in a 12ft Dish (freebie) was going to purchase a V3000 gbox to move the actuator. Can anyone tell me if this will use the USALS commands from the RX ?? Or do I have to program it manually. Thanks

It will use the receiver commands to store and locate the sats. I don't rememeber if it will be Diseqc only or both Diseqc and USALS.

Yeah... Disqc only. It is a nice feature though. The receiver does signal the Vbox to move, so when you fine tune in the Disqc mode you can save your position. Then when you change channels the receiver tells the Vbox to move to the appropriate position. Very nice and automatic after you set each satellite.

OH well

Glad to know it will work. I have been using my dsr920 to move the dish. What i think i am going to do is do away with the corrotor 2 and go with a bsc621 I think they will make one that will work with the 4DTV RX. There are a few DS2 channels that are in the clear that i like to watch plus I just got done changing the battery on my dsr920. I have a separate system for Ku. My Fortec dynamic and sg380 motor with fortec 90cm dish. I plan on using the 12 footer for cband only and my 8 footer for a Ku band dish and to experiment with.
