Cubavision at 58W

Mr Invacom,

I have seen Cubavision at 30W with an invacom LNB
on a 90CM dish. But with a 300CM dish and a universal
LNB (the 621-2) I don't see it (at either location).

As a sanity check I do see the British Telecom test
card on Ku at 58W on the big dish.

I will keep tweeking because I would like that signal.

This is from Maine where 30W is elev 26 degrees.

If you have the QPH-031 the freq. of the LNB does not go low enough to get Cubavision. The QPH-031 LNB range is 11700 to 12200. You would have to use a universal LNB that will go down there. Also Cubavision shows DVB and not FTA for Intelsat 9 in Lynsat and make sure when you do your scan that your start freq. is set low enought to get 11532 H.
Just food for thought.

so if cubavision was at 11800, then the invacom quad would work correct?

Cubavision at 58W

I finally got a signal for Cubavision on Ku at 58W.
This is with a NOT optimal setup (focus, azimuth,
skew all need fine tweeks) but, on the merc 2
with a BSC-621-2 it is on the harry edge at a
quality level of 28. This with the 300cm dish.

No such luck with CCTV on C band at 58W....
I don't get any level on that TP. Is anyone
getting that?
