Please Advise Where to Learn About C Band FTA & DVB

I have a working BUD and am just now hearing about FTA & DVB and would like to learn about how to upgrade my system and what's involved. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Since you have a BUD syste, you are 90% in your route to explore the exciting world of FTA channel surfing.

FTA means free to air. The FTA channels are not encrypted and require no subscription or special descrambler. It is perfectly legal to view FTA channels.

FTA DVB channels: Digital Free to Air Channels

All you need is a DVB FTA receiver such as the Fortec Star ULTRA and a BUD slave kit. The kit will allow you to connect your receiver to your existing dish to benifit for the C and KU band LNBs you already have.

Your BUD receiver will provide the control for the dish movement and polarator skew control.
