Okay I found a piece of software that is new to me that I thought I would bring to light just in case it was little known.
It is called setedit, I just used it to add satcodx entries to my coship cdvb2300B. also to change the sat order and rename sats. The author has a wide variety of sat recievers that can be edited. One draw back I found is I had to re set my DISEqC limits. I hope this helps some of you, it did me.
