Bsc 621 Help In So Cal

A couple of months ago I had bought a BSC 621 to use in my old 8.5 dish...I never got it to work and finally gave up on it....

Does anyone know of someone in Southern California that can help me install this LNB?

What exactly doesn't work?
What receiver do you use?
Which satellite are you aiming at?
What channels/transponders do you try to get?

With a little bit more info it would be much easier to help

I was using an old 8.5 mesh dish
BSC 621
I have a fortec star receiver.....
I was aiming at T5 without any success
I was not able to get anything.....I dont know if its out of alignment or my focal point is out of place.....thats the reason that I asked if there is anyone that installs in Southern California...
