1000.2 dish

Currently I have a dish 500 legacy with a dvr-510. I would like to upgrade to the 1000.2 and continue to use my 510. I am going to switch to a 722 when the new E* satellite goes up at the end of the year to replace the 129 sat and I want to have the dish in place before then. Can I just swap out dishes, I know I am only going to get 110 and 119 now but will get 129 when new sat is up. (I live in Pacific NW and the current 129 does not give a very strong signal.) Do I need to change switches, if so to what? Or, can I just swap dishes and continue business as usual. Thanks in advance.
