Cool Bsc621

I have my own personal question about my BSC621, I look around the other threads to avoid highjacking previous threads on the subject.

As the experts who already helped me setting up my C band dish know, my installation in general has been a success.
My 6 feet antenna is running with an actuator from SATMEX 5 thru PAS1R.
Here comes the question.
My C band side is an absolute success after the initial focal distance adjustment and 0° skew @ AMC5 but the Ku side seems to be not as good as it is supposed to be if I compare the signal quality from the days I was using a 76cm winegard with a Fortec 0.4dB LNB.
For example at AMC5 the Telemundo transponder at 11900 with the winegard I use to receive at 98% quality, now with the 6 footer 60% maximum. Telemundo is the strongest on this satellite.
Another example at G25 on Ku I was able to see almost every transponder with signal quality ranging 40% to 80%.
Now the only transponder I can see is 12177 with the christian channels at about 40% with the 6 footer.
I use to see 12177 at 80% with the 76cm winegard.
AMC4 Ku is another example 3ABN in spanish was between 95% and 100% with my winegard now with the 6 footer it barely makes 40% quality.
As said before C band is working beautiful, signal quality on all satellites is good. I cannot compare with anything else as I never had a C band dish.
With this problem I lost a bunch a good channels on G25 Ku that I would like to see again.
Do I have to adjust focal distance while tuning Ku instead of C band? In other words optimize in reference to Ku.
Is this a typical behavior of the large dishes on Ku?
I'm I doing something wrong?

adjust for best signal on Ku and c band should be even better as Ku is a little more picky than c band.

Same thoughts here. I set my 4DTv dish using the DVB MPEG2 receiver on Ku. Greatly improved my C Band reception.

In my case C band works beautiful, but Ku is real bad from what I am used to work with.
Now with the answers received I realize that Ku is where I am supposed to start optimization rather than C band.

Cool good news

After some optimization of the focal distance Ku works way better.
Now I got G25 back on most transponders.
