Post How to get two dishes to go to two receivers?

Okay...another newbie question. I currently have one FTA Sat (90cm) going to a Coolsat receiver. On Thursday, DishTV tech will be out to install an 18in dish and receiver for regular DishTV programming. So in the livingroom I will have the DishTV hookup and receiver only.

In another room I want to use my coolsat receiver to pick up both SATS (FTA and DishTV). I can do that easily by using my 4x1 DiSeqc switch. The question becomes how to split off the DishTV line to both receivers (two coax cables)? Since the Diseqc switch has one receiver output, there must be a 'best practice' way.

Thanks,

You cannot run Dish Net or DirecTv down the same line as FTA.

Problem is there will be some of the same frequencies trying to travel down the same line.

For this reason, you will have to run a separate line for your FTA programming.
