Same Problem ... Help !

I am having same exact problem, no matter what I tried.

I am in (deep south Texas) Mission, TX
Latitude = 26
Declination Angle (for 26 Latitude) = approx 4.4

I have a motorized system (Digi) that calls out a declination angle of 30 minus 4.4.

So based on my interpretaion I set my elevation @ 26, and my declination @ 26.

PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ! My wife wants to watch the Chinese New Years tomorrow.

why dont you post some pictures of your installtion, I dont understand what you mean by the motor pipe pointing up cause if it is what I think you've got it all wrong.
