need help aligning dish with digpower2100

my lat is 49.837 and long is 99.9. i have my motor elevation set for 49.8 i guess i could go to 50 degrees with that one. dish elevation says 23 degrees. My azimuth(true) should be 180 and azimuth(mag) should be 173.5 declination 7.3 degrees. what satellite should i be testing on to get a true south lock on dish.
dish use is a fortec but i have heard that it could be out by 5 degrees so would that take the dish elevation as high as 28 to around 32 degrees roughly
would my true south sat be AMC4 or directtv 1r/2/4s please help

check LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite
for your true south sat it would be the one that is closest to your longitude.
as for the 5 degrees difference it could be higher or lower so leave your settings where they are and when you get in the general area of your true south sat you can try up or down on the elevation till you get the best lock as for the motor it should have the 50 set on the lat scale and not the elevation scale.

just a little more to go in setting

did all my setting of 50 degrees on motor scale and set my dish scale at about 25 degrees and used my meter to get best signal. check out my viewsat pro Ends up i got 91 degrees west ninqi 1,3 (Express vu) perfectly but i need to be at 99 degrees amc4 for my true south satellite so it looks like i need to go 13.1 degrees west of express vu satellite. what is the best way to do this. disconnect wires from motor and try to move dish and motor 13 degrees west leaving all other settings the same as is using a satellite meter to align again west of the orginal location. i am so use to aiming dish with out motor i can always get it within a few minutes at high strength and quality at about 80 percent. will leave motor at 0 degrees.

Ok with disqec 1.2 set the motor to zero then move the whole assembly on the pole till you find your true south sat then try one of the sats to your far east or west then push up and down if down gets the best signa on a west sat mve the dish and motor assembly on the pole to the west then use the motor to bring the dish back for signal continue this untill pushing up and dow on the dish take away signal then lock every thing down and try your true south sat again continue back and forth untill you get the system on the arc then its just a matter of storing all the sats.
