Hi!

I just installed a 24x18"Elliptical dish with 2 dual lnbs, fortec mercury II receiver, no motor. my location is Latitude: 49.891° Longitude: -97.186.

i'm trying to point on NIMIQ 1 91 W i got no signal at all.
i check on dishpointer.com and they have a different setup for multi-lnbs i don't know where to point my satellite now.

What are your settings? There is nothing on 91 to watch so that could be a start of you problem. The roof means nothing. The mast the dish is mounted to does. What lnbf?

Well the first thing I would do is change the lnbf's out for linear lnbf's There is not really anything FTA on circular sats to speak of. A channel here and a channel there. There are tons of channels on the linear side.

Send a message via MSN to rainman Send a message via Yahoo to rainman
and you will also need a larger dish as a 24" won't do you any good on linear sats.
