With the receiver set the motor to zero. then set the lat scale on the motor to 42.7 degrees. set the angle on the dish scale to 23 degrees align the whole setup to your true south on the compass. then use usuals in the receiver to move to your true south sat at 72degrees west which would be amc 6 use a active Transponder and then adjust the whole thing east and west to you get the best signal if you get nothing go back to the begining and raise or lower dish elevation by 1 degree and try east and west again continue this process to you get a lock.
note: it is good to mark the pole and mount so you can see how far you have moved and you can return to the starting spot.also allow 15 seconds between each move to allow the receiver to see the change. remember slow and small movements 1/16 of a inch at a time.
good luck
