Question Wavefrontier T55 installation question

Dear everybody,

I would like to know if you know someonewho has set-up a T55
or T90 so that I could ask a question about the settings.

I have set it to about the following:
WaveFrontier tilt angle (Skew): 104.24°
WaveFrontier elevation angle: 44.86° (central satellite)
WaveFrontier azimuth range: 31.2° (26.2° E -> 5.0° W)

The central satellite is an imaginary one of 10.6° E.

5W is on R 20.8 and 26.2e is on L -18.3

I have installed an LNB in position R 20 (it approximate) for 5W and it
receives the channels on 5W extreamly well.
These were easy to find. Great.

Next, I placed an LNB at about L -10.6 for 19.2e (as per the instructions on
satlex.de - link )

I could not find any thing there. Of course, I moved it around a bit and
did several blind searchs but found nowt.

I think that because I have set the dish up as per the prescription on the
web site, and coupled with the fact I can receive 5w in the prescribed
place, then all should be well.

I realise that these settings are for Europe, because this is where I am, but I think that this is a good place to post because I read that some of you use the T90 and T55 dishes.

Any clues out there?

Many thanks in advance,
q.

The calc settings and info you can get from the satlex calcualator are just to see as directions, not definite settings.

Given the approximate nature of the settings on satlex, which makes sence because I can receive 5W from the position I gave even if I move the LNB each way by 1/2" and still get a signal, then do you think that it is set up resonably well? I would like to find out whether the inability to locate 19.2E is caused by misalignment of the dish, or my inability to move the LNB into the correct position and scan accordingly.

Most important first is to know which sat positions should make the limit in each direction, eg. 30w to 22e.
Then use the calc on satlex and position the LNBs after adjusting the "tilt" of the main reflector and the subreflector accordingly.

Did you get no installation sheet with the dish?

Get one on wavefrontier.com ....
